This one is another great kickboxing workout from Guillermo Gomez. If you like his other Martial Fusion workouts you’ll like this one too (if you haven’t tried one, you must try one!). The workout is about 42 minutes and the DVD includes a tutorial and a martial arts drill workout.

The main workout is great and follows the same style as other Martial Fusion workouts.  You perform a combination on both sides which you learn add-on style.   As you learn a new part, you repeat the previous parts and you perform jump rope and jumping jacks in between.  After you learn all the parts, you do the combination in its entirety.   After the combinations on both sides, there are some awesome punching drills and jumping jacks.  The drill where you alternate side jabs with jumping jacks will definitely get your heart rate up there.

I love this workout.   You have fun doing the workout and you feel energized afterwards.  This workout is also easy to modify up or down as needed.  My only complaint and it’s not really a complaint so much as a preference is that I wish there were more kicks.  The workout is mostly punches with some knee ups and a short kicking drill near the end.
